A kitchen screenon any tablet.
Every online, table and phone order on one screen in the kitchen, with a chime as it lands. Drinks go to a screen behind the bar. Nothing to install and no hardware to buy.
Every order, from new to served.
Orders arrive on their own and move along in a tap. Nobody refreshes anything.
A private link and a password
Open it on a tablet in the kitchen and type the screen password you set, once. Then leave it open all service: it checks for new orders every 15 seconds. A new password signs every tablet out.
A chime for each order
Every new order chimes, and the tablet can get an alert even with the screen off.
New, in the kitchen, ready
Each order shows its number, what is in it and where it is going: a table, a collection time or a delivery.
Notes and choices
Sizes, extras and requests like "no onions" are on the order, exactly as the customer chose them.
Table bills
Open bills for each table sit beside the orders, so the floor can see what has been ordered and paid.
Food to the kitchen, drinks to the bar.
One order, split between the people who make it.
A bar screen
Pick which menu sections are drinks. The bar screen shows only the drinks, the kitchen screen only the food.
Ready when both are
The kitchen marks the food ready and the bar the drinks. The order is ready when both parts are.
Alerts for each station
A kitchen tablet hears about orders with food, a bar tablet about orders with drinks.
Run out? Say so from the screen.
The menu and ordering tab on the screen keeps customers in step with the kitchen.
Sold out in a tap
Mark a dish sold out for today, or until you say. Customers cannot order it, and the phone line stops offering it.
Pause online orders
Kitchen full? Pause online and phone orders for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Orders from the tables carry on.
Orders per time
Set how long the kitchen needs and how many orders it takes for each collection time, so it never gets swamped.
On the screen, and on their phones.
Staff who sign in see the same running orders on their own phones.
Staff logins
The floor team see the orders and move them along, never your takings or settings.
Who did what
subba records who took each order, who made it ready and who handed it over, and adds it up for the team in your insights.
Kitchen times
How long orders take to be ready, and how many are ready by their collection time, in your sales insights.
Before you switch.
What do I need to buy?
Nothing. The kitchen screen is a private link that opens on any tablet, laptop or computer with a web browser. Staff type the screen password you set once on each tablet, and it stays open all service.
Which orders show on it?
Every order subba takes: collection and delivery orders from your ordering page, orders from the QR codes on your tables, and orders taken by the AI phone line. Online orders paid by card show once they are paid.
Can drinks go to the bar?
Yes. Choose which menu sections are drinks, and open the bar screen behind the bar. The kitchen marks the food ready, the bar marks the drinks ready, and the order is ready when both are.
Does it print tickets?
No. Orders show on the screen, with a chime, and can be emailed to the kitchen as well.
What if someone gets hold of the link?
Make a new link in your settings and the old one stops working straight away, along with any alerts set up from it.
The kitchen screen comes with ordering from subba: QR code ordering at the table, and online orders for restaurants, cafes and takeaways.
